David Beckham to Get Lifetime Award

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder and former England captain, David Beckham, was awarded the BBC Sports Personality Lifetime. Prestigious awards for his service in that sport will be received Beckham on Sunday (19/12/2010) in Birmingham. Beckham (35) have a brilliant career. He has won six Premier League titles and one Champions League title with Manchester United. He also brought Real Madrid win the Primera Division, before being transferred to the LA Galaxy with a value of 25 million pounds.
The award is a lifetime of dedication is one of several awards given in the event the BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Beckham has never won this award in 2001. "Record Beckham on and off the field was amazing. He deserves the award because it always works hard and is also a British ambassador in the sport. He's also a good example. I am sure he will get a warm welcome at Birmingham," says the BBC Sports Personality , Carl Doran. Nine years ago, Beckham won the BBC Sports Personality principal of The Year. He was chosen because it performed brilliantly public when defending England against Greece. His goal in the closing minutes led England to qualify for the 2002 World Cup finals.
